Lawyers Melbourne

The new site for Lawyers just launched....looking a bit bare, but hopefully they get some good articles and advice up soon, and change the theme to something nice and un-default like.

Although we just heard about it on the news, We look forward to seeing what will come of their project.

Autumn News

Ok, so summer didn't really happen.
Then there was all this rain and floods in the middle of Melbourne, in the middle of summer.

Now in the last few weeks, we've had Queensland floods, Japanese Tsunamis, what's next?

The religious types are telling me it's the end days, I tell them care to make a wager on that? Their faith in their beliefs quickly vanishes into nothing. It's amazing they are as stubborn with other kinds of evidence and truth, such as the world being more than 6000 years old.

Oh and then there are the far right nutters protesting in Canberra against global warming science. People protesting against science is like protesting for ignorance.

How are these two things linked? I'll give you one guess.
1. These are natural disasters caused by Earth and it's environment.
2. The changes in the environment and atmospheric balance is all due to humans.
3. If you ignore science then you are doomed to fail, and the world will continue to have bigger problems.

Summer in Melbourne

It's officially summer here in Melbourne. Actually, it's almost autumn, however, it's been a lot more like winter. I got to travel overseas and get out of Melbourne's winter after the peak period this year, hoping to escape the chill, however the home town has been flooded. Queensland floods are causing havoc, and not to belittle those tragic circumstances, Melbourne is hardly experiencing a summer day yet, What happened to the 45 degree days? I have been barely able to turn pink on a hot day, as it is usually so humid that it pours rain down the old cobblestone streets of Prahran and St Kilda.

So universe, please provide us with a few 28 degree fine early summer style days that Australia does so well.

The sound of a tree?

What is the sound of a tree if there is no one there to hear it.
Well, what is the sound of a blog, if there is no one there to read it?

This is just a simple setup to show and document some of my travel experiences, share with friends, and mostly just get experiences off my chest.

I usually tend to travel alone, so keeping an account of what has happened in my worldly travels is a good idea.

Im like a kid who would always climb to the highest branch of the tree. Now I'm an adult, I take a little more care, but still climbing those metaphorical high trees.
